This established twenty-five year old garden of quiet timeless natural beauty, gives a sensof permance upon entering the iron gates. These is a profusion of four-season color and texture woven in a tapestry of unusual perennials, shrubs and trees. A distinctive use of architectural elements creates illusions and expand the boundaries of ample compositions, while seamlessly blending living and outdoor spaces. Unanticipated twists and turns in garden paths create vignettes;while hidden pots, packed with unusual annuals, come into view. This artful designer’s garden has been featured in Woman’s Day:Garden and Deck Design(Fall 2004), Sidney Eddison’s book Gardens to Go, The Welcoming Garden by Gordon Hayward and Connecticut Magazine Best of Connecticut(Sept. 2007). |
